In order to enhance the commitment to the Indian Economy and to be closer to its customers MEI has started Sub assembly of its popular series E700 & D700 (upto 15 kw) in India. With a commitment to invest more the products have already started rolling in the Indian market June’ 13 onwards from its Pune Factory. The area for the sub assembly of inverters is 4000 sq. ft. with a plan to manufacture 40000 units within the first year of its operation. MEI targets to manufacture 1,50,000 units in the next 3 years.

With core components like IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor), Power Module & CPU still being imported from Nagoya Works, Japan, ensures the same world class quality standard. With this production set up, MEI will provide better support to its customers.
