Mitsubishi Electric India participated in IETF 2015
Mitsubishi Electric India exhibited a variety of eco-friendly & energy efficient products and technologies at the 21st edition of the International Engineering and Technology Fair 2015 that was held from 26th to 28th February at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Mitsubishi Electric booth, located at Hall no.14, Stall no. 44, Japan Pavilion, presented the company’s initiatives to become a global, leading green company contributing to low-carbon, recycling-based societies, etc. The exhibition will centre on products and technologies that help reduce the environmental pollution impact by saving, controlling and monitoring energy.

Semiconductor & Devices
Mitsubishi Electric Semiconductor & Devices are a key component in power electronics products for contributing to the realization of a low-carbon society; they have led to a reduction in power loss and significant energy saving for power electronic devices. On display was the Power Module (Si), DIPIPM, IPM, IGBT Modules, HVIGBT Modules, Power Modules for Vehicles and SiC Power Modules and TFT’s
Living Environment
Demonstration of Kirigamine ZEN mock-up , energy efficiency solution to room Air Conditioner, Lossnay technology which provides excellent air quality and unbeatable heat exchange efficiency, City Multi Heat recovery R2 system which is an energy efficiency solution to utilize exhaust heat from Air Conditioner to create sanitary hot water. Jet Towel was also on display which showed environmental benefits of using Jet Towel to save trees used for paper towels.
Elevators and Escalators
Information on one of the world’s fastest elevator’s which travels at over 60 km/h at China’s tallest building-Shanghai Tower and how Green elevators of Mitsubishi Electric are helping the environment with high efficiency motors and regenerative convertors.
Space Systems
Prototype of GOSAT-2 Satellite was on display which Monitors greenhouse gases to help prevent global warming. GOSAT-2 is the 2nd generation satellite with new capabilities for measurement of carbon monoxide and fine particulate matter from the GOSAT family which was the world's first satellite dedicated to monitoring greenhouse gases. This was a major attraction at IETF 2015.
Transportation Systems
Information on how, Inverters are enhancing the energy efficiency of railways, global and Indian supply experience of Mitsubishi Electric with its first project in early 1950’s. Also on display was the information on new Indian Transport Systems factory which is being set-up in the Bidadi Industrial Area, Bengaluru, and Karnataka.
Factory Automation and Industrial Solutions
On display was products and solutions contributing to Factory Floor Energy Savings by using Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation as well as LVS products, RV-F Series Intelligent Assembly Robot Enhancing Factory Floor Efficiency and a VFD Demo-kit showcasing energy efficiency. The Mitsubishi Electric Robot RV7- FL was a crowd puller at IETF 2015 and it’s live pick and place display caught the imagination of all visitors.
Corporate Display
The main stage presented videos of case studies regarding Mitsubishi Electric’s initiatives to reduce CO2 emissions. It will highlight MEI’s corporate mission and seven guiding principles with a first launch of the ‘Mitsubishi Electric Works for me’ campaign in India. The campaign also explained that there are Mitsubishi Electric users throughout the world. Also on display would be the corporate social responsibility initiative of Mitsubishi Electric India which is constantly supporting the environment preservation by tree plantation activities in Gurgaon, Pune and many more to come.
